2024 SUMMER CAMPS

Printmaking Camps

Relief printing, block carving, cyanotypes, oh my! This summer, we’re offering a couple of introductory-level camps to a new studio art form - printmaking! This one will have some sharp tools and permanent inks, so it’s just for the older kiddos.

*COVID precautions will align with Boulder County Public Health guidelines in place when camp begins. Our standard refund policy will be in effect.

Printmaking Camp Cost:

5-Day Camps: $305
Each student enrolled in camp can sign up for supervised lunch. Bring your own lunch to enjoy between morning and afternoon camps (12pm-1pm). The fee for this add-on program is $20 per week.

Hand-Building Camps: Ages 6 to 8

Join us for clay camp, where kids learn the basics of ceramics hand-building. Campers will experiment with low-fire clay and discover ways to build functional pottery as well as creative sculpture — monsters and mugs, nature-inspired works, zoo creatures, and anything they dream up. Each day, we spend most of the time learning techniques and creating, with a quick break in the middle for snacks, outdoor activities, and games.

*COVID precautions will align with Boulder County Public Health guidelines in place when camp begins. Our standard refund policy will be in effect.

Handbuilding Camp Cost:

5-Day Camps: $220

Teen Sculpture (Hand-Building) Camps

Join us for a hand-building camp for teens focused on the more advanced and specialized hand-building techniques. Students will get to experiment with a variety of sculptural forms to create beautiful and unique art pieces.

Teen Microwave Raku (Hand-Building) Camp

Explore tiny sculptures and jewelry making with raku glazes. And then burn it with fire!

In this teen camp we will be exploring and experimenting with Microwave Raku! This class will go over basic hand-building techniques on a small scale - think earrings, pendants, tiny lil’ animal sculptures - which are heated in a special microwavable kiln before being placed in organic combustable materials to create unique and unpredictable patterns and colors.

Wheel-Throwing Camps: Ages 8 to 11

Open to students of all skill level! Each camp includes hands-on assistance to help every camper grow in wheel-throwing, trimming, and glazing, and a quick break in the middle for snacks and outdoor activities at the park nearby.

Wheel-Throwing Camp Cost:
